My poem’s in an anthology!

How’s that for happy, unexpected news?

My poem “How to Do Anything Better” was selected for Abandoned Mine‘s anthology, 43 Poems for People Who Don’t Read Poetry. (You can also see the cover reveal on my Patreon page.)

The anthology is exactly what you might think: a perfect (re-)introduction into poetry if you’re dipping your toes in after a long time away from poetry. Or if you keep trying to find poetry you love but can’t seem to make it through all the dense, cryptic, confusing, or just plain bad poetry out there.

But the poems have such variety and depth that any poetry lover will get something out of it.

I am truly excited about this anthology, and not just because my poem is in it. I’ve had a chance to read over the poems, and I can honestly say this is one of the best collections of poetry I have read in a long time. I’m so glad to be a part of it and get to share it with you.

The book is available for purchase now at online retailers, but please ask your local bookstore or library to carry it. If you’re not sure how to request the book or where to start, reach out to me with your city/state and name of the bookstore/library by using the Contact Form at peggyperdue.com.

Thank you!

P.
