A special anthology update

Hello,

First, let me say, Welcome! We have some new email subscribers, and I want to acknowledge all of you right now. I am so thankful to have you here. I’ve got some updates, and I didn’t want you to miss out. Then back to our regular content!

(For those of you in Portland, Oregon, read to the end to learn about something special coming your way….)

Thank you to all of you who have told me you purchased a copy of Abandoned Mine’s anthology, 43 Poems for People Who Don’t Read Poetry. I can’t wait to hear what you think!

Some of you have asked how you can get your own copies. And the answer to that depends on the kind of impact you want to have:

  • I just found out I can buy the anthology directly from the editors at a small discount. For logistical reasons, I can extend this offer to patrons only. So if you join me on Patreon by April 30 at the $3 level or higher, I can add your order to mine. Once you’re a member, I’ll send you a message with more information.
  • I’m also happy to say my current patrons will be getting a signed copy of the anthology! It’s been incredible to have this support over the years and to be able to offer this benefit in return. If you’d like to get a signed copy of my books, become a patron at the $24 tier and higher. You’ll also get your name in the Acknowledgments of my chapbook.

Becoming a patron is the best and most sustainable way to support my work.

  • You can also ask your local bookstore or library to carry a copy. (Let me know if you need help navigating this request.)
  • Or buy from any of these online retailers: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Walmart.

Okay, for those of you in the Portland area. The details are still being worked out, but if you haven’t purchased a copy yet, I’m actually asking you to wait. There might be an opportunity for you to do all the things: support me, other contributors, the editors of this anthology, and one of your local indie bookstores! Keep an eye out for that announcement soon.

Thank you!

P.
